In addition to being a BWY yoga teacher, I am also officially qualified as a Menopause Yoga teacher as developed and taught by

Petra Coveney.

The menopause is challenging time for many women as they seek to come to terms with a new phase of life. Menopause Yoga has been specifically developed to help women to connect and to learn about the Menopause journey in a way that makes it accessible to any woman, regardless of whether they have any previous yoga experience.

My Menopause Yoga workshops are varied and each is tailored towards addressing a particular set of symptoms associated with peri-menopause and menopause, such as dealing with rage & irritability, or coping with physical changes to our bodies.

During the workshops you will have the opportunity to share your own experiences, expectations and concerns in a Womens Circle, a safe and supportive environment where you learn from others and share your own knowledge.

We will continue with a specially adapted yoga session to help alleviate specific menopause related symptoms which is heavily grounded in restorative yoga techniques utilising props, following on with breathwork and meditation.  The workshops will end a short poetry reading and an opportunity for you to start practising your own journal writing, allowing you to reflect and record your own journey.
